ROCKIN’ DOCS MUSICFEST

For over 10 years, Rockin’ Docs Musicfest has been a fun-filled and much-anticipated outdoor fall event. Over those ten years, although blessed with four years of beautiful fall evenings, we faced six years of troublesome weather including hurricane-related wind and rain, torrential downpours and flooding, and unseasonably cold temperatures. When you add the economy to the weather-related issues, it is amazing that against these odds, your hard work made it possible for Rockin’ Docs Musicfest to donate more than $375,000 in support of medical care in our community.
Due to the fact that weather has such a huge impact on attendance and the monies from admission, food, beverages, retail sales and the Chairity and Silent Auction, and in consideration of current economic challenges, a decision was made to move inside, to consolidate the event in one date, and to change the date and season.
We are happy to announce that SPIECE FITNESS will host the
12th Annual Rockin’ Docs Musicfest at the SPIECE FIELDHOUSE on FRIDAY,
March 16, 2012.
SPIECE FITNESS, a long-time sponsor of Rockin’ Docs MusicFest, is the 12th Annual Rockin’ Docs Musicfest hosting sponsor for the event at the SPIECE FIELDHOUSE.
This wonderful sponsorship is a perfect opportunity for a sports-related theme. To promote this theme, the Rockin’ Docs MusicFest event date has been changed to Friday, March 16, 2012. The March date coincides with the end of winter, the beginning of spring and the start of “March Madness”.
